Your role
As Test Automation Engineer at Bank J. Safra Sarasin you are a technically minded individual with good conceptual knowledge and experience, focused on delivering high quality products and provide an important contribution to the overall test coverage as well as enhance our processes to ensure the right solution is delivered accurately in expected time and stability. Your responsibilities
- Design and/or improve test cases, test automation as well as QA and deployment processes for different J. Safra Sarasin solutions and tools
- Continuously increase the automation coverage
- Design and write test-scripts based on received specifications
- Test case execution and detailed analysis and validation
- Bug fix verification
- Support internal teams during their manual acceptance test phases
- Maintain and improve test case reports and dashboards
Your profile
- Solid education with a degree, preferably in computer science or related technical field or equivalent work experience, preferrably with prior experience in the banking industry
- Strong knowledge of testing practices, ability to efficiently specify, develop and support test cases and test plans
- Test automation experience in Tosca, Automation Anywhere or similar; Experience with DevOps tool chain (JIRA, Azure DevOps)
- Programming languages experience (C#, JAVA, Python or any other relevant programming language) and OOPS concepts
- Willingness to adapt to different technologies in order to continuously enlarge our testing universe
- ISTQB Foundation certification, familiarity with Atlassian applications and X-ray Test Management for JIRA is a plus
- Fluency in English required, German or Portugese is a plus
