Main Responsibilities

  • Work as a Research Analyst within the Hedge Funds Research team
  • Assist the Portfolio Manager in the Hedge Fund Manager Selection Process such as Screening, Selection, Monitoring and Reporting
  • Assist the Portfolio Manager in Funds of Hedge Fund Portfolio and Risk Management
  • Establish and maintain relationships to hedge fund managers
  • Independent project work/management
  • Assist in projects
  • Content-related and administrative support in day-to-day operations
  • Close collaboration with the marketing team to assist in production company and fund materials such as Factsheets, Presentations, DDQs, Monthly Reports, Research notes etc.

The position offers a set of responsibilities, so we need someone flexible and able to wear many hats, adapting to the tasks at hand.

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years single (Hedge) Fund selection experience; collaboration in Fund of Hedge Funds portfolio management is a plus
  • Solid judgement, intellectual curiosity, and willingness to take a differentiated perspective
  • Strong motivation and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail, combined with a solutions-oriented mindset
  • Aptitude to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong MS Office / Office365 experience
  • CAIA, CFA, FRM etc. and Environmental Social Governance (‘ESG’) knowledges are a plus
  • For non-EU/non-EFTA nationalities: compulsory unlimited Swiss work permit
